Combat shoe

Although their combat shoes are like other shoes, there is a difference. That is, their shoes have stripes sewn from the bottom of the foot opening upwards. (See the picture below).

This was not always worn by the LTTE. They did not wear it on the battlefield. But all the LTTE participating in the parade wore it especially during the parade. At the same time, some people wore it during training.

The side camouflage of this shoe was green striped for the Land LTTE (also the Land LTTE & the Wild LTTE) and blue striped for the ground service uniform of the Naval Team of the LTTE. The Naval Team, Karumpulikal and Air Team did not have any stripes sewn on, but were simply black.
