Today is the Memorial Day of the brave freedom fighters of the Naval Team of the LTTE Lt. Colonel Sevvel, Lt. Colonel Seeralan, and Lt. Colonel Puyalini, who sacrificed their lives in a direct clash with the Sri Lankan Navy in the Pulmottai sea area of Thiriconamalai on 24.09.2006.
