Tamil Eelam Women

The enemy is well aware of the immense fighting spirit of our female fighters and their heroism. A book should be written as a historical record so that the world and our people can know what they know. This requires a clear vision of our struggle, a life experience within the war, a knowledge of the war and an understanding of the subtle mental feelings of our fighters. Without it it would be difficult to visualize the history of our struggle in its depth and breadth and in its realm of reality.

It is difficult to accurately grasp the history of our female fighters by historians who are buried in antiquity with no knowledge of war. So great sacrifices on the battlefield. It has been my dream for a long time that women fighters who have achieved and should do this work.

It is with great pleasure that this webpage is published about the Malathy Brigade, a heartfelt historical recount of the various wars, the strength and intelligence of the female fighters.

Women are the most equal in the world. Women are the equal in our society. The liberation of our nation will not be possible without the participation of these equal numbers of women in our struggle. Our national liberation would not be complete without the emancipation of equal women. But on that day social injustices against women were on the rise in our society. Opinions of female oppression prevailed. Our society itself was deeply divided by caste differences. Above all, our social structure was built on a system of economic production in which the landlord system and caste structures were tightly intertwined. It imposed limits on self-consciousness.

It prevented women from realizing that they were living in a state of oppression. In addition, the war of genocide of the enemy had intensified as never before on earth. In that case we could not think of bringing about fundamental social change and paving the way for women’s emancipation. Therefore, I firmly believed that women’s liberation and national liberation could be made possible by gradually bringing about social change through the inclusion of women in our liberation struggle. This is how the LTTE emerged in our struggle and today stands as the great force that determines the course of the war to dismantle the enemy’s forces.

The rights and freedoms that our women Tigers have given to our women in a very short period of time are far greater than those of Western women who have waged great struggles for more than a century, carried out revolutions, understood and debated. They have also carried out a great revolution in the society. Are developing a new vision of social concepts. After all, anatomists claim that males and females are created with equal energy, and that females live as an example to the world.

Our female fighters are borne as revolutionary tigers who’ve overcome internal suffering, risky situations and fought. They have the unshakable morale and therefore the courage to be born. They are people of immense endurance and unwavering determination and hard work.

They fight not only on land but also at sea. Maritime art is very subtle. It requires a lot of training and experience. The sea is constantly swaying. It is very difficult to ride on its back and fight. Our female tigers have become accustomed to living in the sea like fry.

The beauty of this webpage is expressed in a very subtle way in the simple style of these female fighters, the immeasurable love that exists between them and their life of struggle. The history of the Malathy Brigade is set in a different style, with various incidents taking place in different places. In addition, the history of the LTTE is beautifully linked to the war experience of the Malathy Brigade. I would like to express my appreciation and gratitude to the Malathy Brigade fighters and commanders who worked tirelessly and whose contributions have led to the creation of this webpage. I would also like to express my gratitude for the excellent publication of this webpage.

From the book “Vilutumaki Verumaki”, Tamil National Leaders Greeting on March 8, 1992, Women’s Day:

In a statement issued by Tamil Eelam National Leader Prabhakaran on International Women’s Day, March 8, 1992, ‘Women’s liberation refers to the emancipation of women from state oppression and economic exploitation. Therefore, the women’s liberation struggle designed by our movement is being carried out as a three-pronged liberation struggle with the objectives of national liberation, social liberation and economic liberation. It is not a struggle against patriarchal oppression. It is a struggle against patriarchal ignorance. This ideological struggle must be aimed at changing the mentality of men. ”
