The LTTE’s Military Spokesperson, Marshall alias Ilanthirayan had indicated the geopolitical dimensions of the struggle where the shortcomings of global powers arise due to the current structures of global order. Therefore, to prevent such ideals from being implemented, individuals such as Marshall were seen as a threat by global powers and the SL state and had been forcibly disappeared.
