The fishing community in the Tamil homeland
The fishing community in the Tamil homeland suffered the most at the hands of the Sri Lankan Navy during the time of struggle. Their livelihood was severely curtailed and when they went into the sea their life was under threat. NESOHR issued three reports especially addressing the plight of the fishing community.
