The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) Operation Security Intelligence Service (TOSIS) is an LTTE intelligence service established in 1983. It was headed by Pottu Amman and by Kapil Amman as vice chairman.
It served as a tool for all LTTE attacks, including LTTE Black Tigers. The Intelligence Division played a key role in discovering Gopalasamy Mahendrarajah, known as Mataiah, played a key role in leaking secrets to India’s intelligence agency, RAW.
In 1988 national leader Prabhakaran appointed Pottu Amman to manage the LTTE’s intelligence unit.
