Major Valarmathi and 2nd Lt. Nila
The next attack was on Sri Lankan soldiers patrolling towards Welikanda from Kallichi. Major Valarmathi is the leader of the group. 2nd Lt. Nila is also in the group. Valarmathi and Nila is best friends. It was a two days trip. They started the journey with the necessary food and weapons. Afte a long journey across waterfall and mountains, they set out to attack. The women figthers attacked the Sri Lankan soldiers, who arrived in vehicles. The survivors of Sri Lankan soldiers left the body of the slain soldiers and fled into the jungle. One jeep and one tractor was damaged. The journey was going on across mountains and waterfalls again, with the captured weapons and the fallen women fighter 2nd Lt. Nila.
Some figures crawled along the dark field. Without making a sound the women fighters and medical teams took care of the wounded fighters and gave them emergency treatment. There was mud everywhere. Until they finished their mission, the mud is their blanket. They swam through the sea of Poonakari in the cold night without the Sri Lankan troops show them. They used a hidden path. That was Captain Thenuja´s dream. Her dream came true after 1 year of her death. Captain Thulasi Lt. Colonel Muhuntha was in the battle too where they all found a hidden path to end the mission.
