North Eastern Human Rights Secretariat
Human Rights Supervision was launched in Kilinochchi on July 9, 2004. It was made up of public groups. It was set up on the recommendation of the West during the 2002 negotiation talks between the Sri Lankan government and the LTTE. This organization continues to expose the human rights abuses perpetrated in the ongoing war.
