Archuna Media Division
The division is named after the first LTTE videographer martyr who embraced his heroic death during documentation of fighting at sea in 1986.
This media project was initiated during the multi-disciplinary work created during the tenure of Colonel Kittu as the Jaffna District Commander. Veeravangai Aruchuna was involved in the videography work at this time.
There is no doubt that this media unit carried the real scenes around the world with the strength of many more heroes who walked in the footsteps of Colonel Kittu, the father of our division and gave their lives and gave us the records of history.
This field of media is one of the ideological responses of our national leader that our warriors should excel not only in the art of combat but in all forms of art.
A message that could not be written in a thousand words was revealed through these images. They captured the reality of the struggle and homeland conditions of our patriotic war of liberation through video footage. As such, we have to keep pace with the pace of global communication today.
