Brigadier Sasikumar

Brigadier Sasikumar, known as “Sasi Master”, was one of the LTTE’s top commanders. Prior to the battle with the Sinhala Army in Mullivaikal on 15.05.2009, Sasikumar fell as martyr.

A spy intelligent unit were established in the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) by the national leader to provide information on enemy forces, military structures, etc., and to monitor militant activities and provide information on combat operations.

It is no exaggeration to say that Brigadier Sasikumar played an important role in bringing life to the heroism of the freedom fighters through his hard work day and night. Under the guidance of the national leader, many of the fighters had wroten many histories in their homeland. Brigadier Sasikumar was valued and trusted by the national leader because of his wide way to collect important information and because of his infinite love for his homeland.
