Heroes’ Day in Diaspora Countries
All methods followed in Tamil Eelam are followed diaspora countries that observed Heroes’ Day. “Maveerar Thuyilumillam” (tombs of the Tamil heroes) are artificially designed and kept in a hall dedicated to these heroes.
Heroes’ Day was previously held in the diaspora and coincide with the holidays of the respective countries. The day is marked and commemorated at the convenience of the Eelam people.
A change was made by the Maveerar secretariat (Tamil Eelam) in 2002 for every tamil diapora countries to conduct the Heros Day on November 27th similary to the event comducted in Tamil Eelam.
