Maveerar Thuyilumillam is in Mulliyawalai.
One road was closed for the burial of the bodies of Maveerars in 1995 in Mulliyawalai Maveerar Thuyilumillam. Nearby, an alternative new road was also constructed for use by Tamil people as well.
After the end of the war, Thuyilumillam was brought under the control of the army and was converted into an army camp. The owner came from abroad and wanted to take his land and road.
Now they are trying to reopen this road where the Maveerar bodies are buried.
People are requesting that Tamil representatives come forward to protect the sanctity of the Maveerar Thuyilumillam as well as prevent other roads from being built.
