Countless Eelam songs have been penned by him including that of our National Flag. As mentioned by Rathnathurai, the Tamils’ struggle as established under the LTTE saw a revival of symbols representing the Tamils’ distinct identity and history – a crucial factor of building a collective psyche. Furthermore, his unwavering remark that Tamil Eelam had been established when the National Leader of Tamil Eelam had commenced the armed struggle, is in itself a motivating factor which can be pursued to further our struggle for liberation.
