Heroes’ Day Events are held in Sampur Maveerar Thyuilumilam, Trincomalee District. Alangulam Thyuilumillam is currently being renovated by the people. This tireless reconstruction is being carried out in view for the upcoming 27th Heroes’ Day. More than 2500 Maveerar have been buried (tombs) in the house of Sampur Alangulam Maveerar Thyuilumillam .
November 27, the International Day of Remembrance of Heroes, will be commemorated internationally and will include a salute to the heroes at 6.05 pm on that day.
