Black Tigers of Sea Tigers
The first sea attack by Black Tigers against the Sri Lankan military was carried out on 10.07.1990 by the Major Kantharuban , Captain Vinoth and Captain Collins . This attack was taken place in Jaffna. The so called P 715 “Edithara” command ship of the Sri Lankan Navy was patrolling the sea of Valvettithura. This ship was sunk in this attack.
