Honoring students who have made our history academically.
The political struggle for the self-determination of Tamileelam has been moving through a long hierarchical history, taking different forms in different periods. The people of Tamileelam are still facing the brutalities of the Sinhalese government domination. The true history of Tamileelam, the antiquity of Tamil, the cultural values of Tamils, and the history of the liberation struggle of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, which has emerged as the destiny of Eelam history, should be properly recorded in this world.
In this way, many students who took our struggle as an educational handover in Switzerland and recorded our history academically, were accepted by the Swiss Tamil political department, a sub-organization of the Swiss branch of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam. Their works were analyzed and two were selected for outstanding academic performance. Also, one is chosen for his work on our race’s rich history in adult professional education.
The three selected was honored on Tamileelam National Day – Maveerar naal – on 27th November 2023, in front of the fallen maveerar, their parents and the Tamil people participating on the day.
