International Communication
International communication is one of the main structures of the LTTE. The person in charge is Mr. Castro, real name V. Manivannan. The international community has been implementing a wide range of activities worldwide. It established its branches in each country and carried out its activities in its respective countries through its branches. The branch offices were called the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) branch or the Tamil Coordinating Committee (TCC).
The activities of these branches are similar to how the embassy of a country functions. Thus the activities of the branches are:
- Coordinating, building and guiding the Tamil people.
- Tamil language education for diaspora children.
- Sports events through the Sports Industry.
- Art events through the Academy of Arts and Culture.
- To take the Sinhala atrocities taking place in Tamileelam to the world through Campaign Division.
- Distributing our songs, videos, texts, homegrown products to the diaspora through the p-Publishing Section.
- Connecting the families of the heroes living in the diaspora through the Heroes’ Workshop and organizing and the Heroes’ Day event, maintaining, and preserving the monuments of the Heroes in the diaspora.
- Raising funds for the homeland through the Finance Division.
- Improving the bridge between the diaspora youth and the homeland through the Tamil Youth Organization.
- Rehabilitation of war-affected women in the homeland and intelligence work for women in the diaspora through the Tamil Women Organization.
It is noteworthy that many more programs and branches have been implemented in the homeland Tamileelam and in the diaspora.
