Kanchikudichcharu Maveerara Thyuilumillam is in Amparai
On November 27, National Heroes’ Day commemoration event was held at 27, Kanchikudichcharu Thyuilumillam in Amparai under the patronage of its Chairman, Nagamani Krishnapillai.
Lanterns for the ceremony were lit, a great tribute of silence was observed, and wreaths were laid for more than 800 war heroes who died fighting for national liberation.
On that day, the premier lantern was mounted and given a wreath by Kanagasundaram Thillaiyamma from Vinayagapuram, the mother of three Maveerars and a former freedom fighter .
