“Maamanithar” Sivaram
Sivaram was a country loyalist, honest and courageous media fighter and military analyst.
Standing in the Sinhala chauvinism, he stated the injustices it committed against the Tamil nation. He was abducted and brutally murdered on 29.04.2005. In recognition of Sivaram’s patriotism the Tamil Eelam National Leader honored him with the prestigious national award for “Maamanithar” (“a man with big/strong heart”).
