5984 children are benefiting under the “Thalir – Children’s Savings Plan”, which operates under the Tamil Eelam Development Program.
2443 children in Kilinochchi, 2351 children in Mullaitivu, 155 children in Mallavi and 185 children in Vavuniya are benefiting from the Rural Development Banks and “Thalir – Children´s Savings Plan”.
The Rural Development Bank of the Tamil Eelam Development Corporation is carrying out a mobile service with the aim of inculcating saving habits among the people.
