This is a geographical boundary of the Southern most tip of South India during the Sangam period, the advanced Iron Age of Tamil Nadu and Illankai (Present Sri Lanka), and the introduction of Iron usage in Sri Lanka too goes beyond the time of Megalithic period in Sri Lanka i.e. 1200 B.C.
