Sathyaraj
Sathyaraj Subbaiah (born 3 October 1954) is a Tamil film actor from Coimbatore district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. His given name is Rengaraj. He started his acting career as a negative actor and later became a protagonist. He is an avid fan of MGR. His son Sibiraj is a Tamil film actor. He is a college friend of actor Manivannan.
He directed and starred in the movie Villaathi Villain. He produced the movie called Lee. The film stars his son Sibiraj as the protagonist.
Periyar movie
Sathyaraj acted in the movie “Thandai Periyar” without getting paid. For that he got the great value of the Periyarists. Dravidar Kazhagam President K. Veeramani Periyar presented the ring to Sathyaraj. The film stars actress Khushbu opposite Sathyaraj.
Tamil consciousness
Actor Sathyaraj took part in a motorcycle parade from Chennai to Vellore demanding the abolition of the death sentences of Perarivalan, Chandan and Murugan. Director Manivannan and General Secretary of Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam Viduthalai K. Rasendran and many youths participated in it.
