The second ultimate sacrifice in the First language war was Thalamuthu. Two months after the disappearance of Natarasan, one of the two who has lost their lives in the language war, on 12-3-1939, Thalamuthu met his death in Chennai jail at the tender age of 24. Four months after Thalamuthu demise, his wife Guruvampal participated in the war to stop the Hindi-imposition on Tamil indigenous land and was imprisoned.
