Focused on gender equity and survival strategies, this initiative was a crucial part of providing employment for women, particularly female-headed households, many of whom carried the dual burden of caregiving and income generation in the aftermath of conflict.
The ethnic cleansing agenda of the Sri Lankan government continues today with renewed force, —is dismantling the achievements of Tamil Eelam and replacing truth with propaganda. If we do not act now, our future will be one written by those who sought to erase us.
