Uduthurai is a village located in North Jaffna. The village is a narrow oblong that covers the entire east coast of the peninsula. On its eastern border is the Indian Ocean. And it is a village with Jaffna District Administrative Boundary and Kilinochchi District Court Police Administrative Boundary.

Uduthurai, which is excelling in land prosperity and art like marine resources and large plantations, agriculture, suffered great damage due to the war and the tsunami.

On Kandy Jaffna Highway Uduthurai is located at a distance of 6 km directly from Ijakachi is one of the ancient towns of Nagar period.
