#Lust is not ugly! It is an art!!
#Kamam_Ur / #Udaluravu Kamam (Ur) – Katirakamam, Pazhalakamam, Kodikamam, Kudakamam, Valikamam, Pazhulakamam, Ambagamam, Panangamam, Dhampalakamam, Vimanakamam, Sakamam (Thirukoviil), Irvaamam, Velakamam, Uragirigamam, Girikandakamam, Menakamam, Urkamam, Ilakamam, Dekamam, Urugamam, Magamam, Mudaliankamam, Santanakamam (Kalloya), Vathukamam, Kanakamam, Kumbakamam, Nandikamam, Kanukamam, Cherankamam (Ampara border area), Urukamam, Welikamam, Magamam (present-day Tissamaharama-Kirinda area)
All the names mentioned above refer to towns within the unified island of Sri Lanka.. (There are more than 200 such places in other parts of Sri Lanka) (Know that there is also a west..but they all end in Kama, Kamuwa.) Many of the towns mentioned thus have been doing Kama since ancient times until the last few years.
I dare say that due to the practice of Kama, these town names may have been given the name Kama and over time extended to Kama!
Even today, such areas are known in the Sinhala language with the Sinhala variant of the Tamil word Kama, ‘Kama’.
