Member of the LTTE’s Medical Wing and wife of TEEDOR’s head, Karikalan, Dr. Padmaloginy had been involved with assisting many Tamil women who were raped by the genocidal SL forces. Her services were crucial in allowing the victims to recover themselves from the traumas that they faced and thus was crucial in sustaining the wellbeing of the citizens of Tamil Eelam both physically and psychologically. The enforced disappearance of her and her husband are an indication of the genocidal state’s objectives to deprive the Tamils of such individuals who could allow them to rebuild themselves in the aftermath of the genocidal onslaught of 2009
