Head of the Voice of Tigers / Pulikalinkural, Javan had effectively operated the LTTE’s radio broadcasting service to further communicate and broadcast occurrences with the citizens of Tamil Eelam. Despite being subject to constant targeted aerial and ground attacks from the occupational armed forces, the VoT continued their broadcasting services immediately after such attacks. The continuity of their broadcast extended to the final stage of 2009 hence indicative of their uncompromised operation. He had also indicated that following each attack, the song “So what if the bomb falls on us” was aired to reinvigorate the listeners to continue onwards despite any obstacles.
