Allaipittai St.Peter Church Massacre 13 August 2006.
Allaipittai is one of the tiny islands close to Jaffna cost. When clashes broken out between Tamil Tigers and Sri Lankan security forces, people took refuge into near by Church. The soldiers started firing towards to the church. Unofficial report said several people were killed in the indiscriminate shelling by the Sri Lankan forces. The catholic priest Rev.Father Jimbrown who was in charged of the church and helped the people in church was arrested by the soldiers and disappeared. Several attempts and requests were made to his realise were failed. Even the Vatican refused take any action regarding his realise.
A young lady wounded in shelling recalled the horrible incident. Name and other details of the lady kept in secret because of safety reasons. “In the night shells were started falling in the residential areas. In order to take cover people started to run towards the church in the night. Many were reached the church, but a considerable number of civilians were injured or killed by the shelling.
In the morning soldiers rounded up the church and selected the remaining people and used them as human seal and moved with them towards Jaffna Town and promised to realise them in the Town. Once they reached the Jaffna Town, they forced the people to return to the church and started shelling even from navy vessels towards the church and the village. Many children lost their parents, many parents lost their children in the village. The Rev. Priest Jim Brown tried to help the wounded, and to collect the bodies. But he was stopped by Sinhala army. Unknown number of people were killed in the Village”.
In the year 1990 a massacre took place in the church. A large number of people were vanished without any race.

After all these massacres the world communities still force the Tamil people to live with the Singhala regime, like to force The Jews to accept Nazi rule.
