13.09.1990 – Memorial Day for fighters at the Fort Camp
On 13-09-1990, the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives in the historic battle that defeated the Sri Lankan government’s three-armed forces advancing from Mandaitheevu towards the Fort Camp.
The brave fighters lying here have joined the ranks of the thousands of brave fighters who died in the holy war to restore the Tamileelam homeland.
Death has not only stopped their speech and breath but has also made their ideal even more fragile. Their root will take again, they will fall, they will enter the newly born tigers.
We pledge to fulfill the dream of those who are leaving us with the dream of freedom for their homeland!
While we pay tribute to these brave fighters who accepted the leadership and guidance of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, bravely went out and fought, we are preparing ourselves again for the war of liberation of our homeland.
