Felicitation Ceremony to Tamil Eelam Netball team at Kilinochchi

Netball team was invited by Student Organization’s (SALT) parade towards Kilinochchi Central College main hall.

Tamil Eelam Netball team was felicitated on 30th August 2003 at Kilinochchi to for their great achievement, succeeding all the participated games at Promil, UK. They went to UK on last July 20th & won all the games, they participated and returned their mother land today. This team was invited by Student Organization’s (SALT) parade towards Kilinochchi Central College main hall.

This felicitation ceremony was presided the in-charge of Tamil Eelam sports council, Mr. Pappa. At the beginning of the event, the commander in chief of the “Sothiya” brigade colonel Thurka and Commander Colonel Banu. Then National flag was hoisted by Commander in chief of the “Malathi” brigade Colonel Vidusha.

Then felicitated speeches were delivered by the Police in-charge of Tamil Eelam Mr. P. Nadesan, Justice and Administration in-charge Mr. Para, Second in command of political wing Mr. Thangan, Second in command of women affairs Miss Geetha and Education director of Kilinochchi zone. Mr. Sivasamy.

Jaffna, Kilinochchi, Mullaiteevu, Batticaloa, and Mannar district players participated in this Netball team.
