Batticaloa District Deputy Commander Colonel Ramanan

The first chapter of the life Intelligence Service! Batticaloa District Deputy Commander Colonel Ramanan

Memorial of Batticaloa District Deputy Commander Colonel Ramanan.

Batticaloa District Deputy Commander Colonel Ramanan’s death

I have known Ramanan for a very long time. I think it was in early 1987 or earlier.

He had joined us in one of the battles to stop the movement of Sri Lankan troops in the village of Ambalanthurai near Kokkadichcholai in Batticaloa. At the time he was a fighter on Reagan’s team

We had made long journeys together for a long time in all the forests, hills and fields in Batticaloa Ampara. He was involved in various activities. At the time, he was a fighter on Reagan’s team and later a part-time officer on Reagan’s team

Everyone knows about the contributions of his family to the struggle.  Following that I wanted to integrate him into our Intelligence Service and join him as one of the intelligence operatives because of his excellent activities. However, he acted uniquely as a fighter intelligence operative there, considering the need of the district

He had carried out a number of successful operations during his time in the fighter intelligence process.  Even though I was not directly involved in them, he had such successes that his actions took me by surprise and pride

In particular, the successful operation of the Sri Lankan Task Force on Sakabandhu and the successful operation to assassinate the traitor, Rasik, who then acted like Karuna today, were most notable as the success of his intelligence operations.

Ramanan was shocked when Karuna’s betrayal was revealed. He wonders how far this man has been able to act thus, keeping in mind the process of betrayal. He was fully committed to overcoming that betrayal. He had landed on the field in charge of the most dangerous tasks. Everyone knows that

Pottu Amman said it was no exaggeration to say that his unwavering commitment to the cause of Tamil Eelam and his absolute clarity on liberation had enabled him to make such clear decisions and to face danger

Batticaloa District Deputy Commander Colonel Ranaman

Batticaloa District Deputy Commander Colonel Ramanan became maveeran in a targeted attack carried out by the Sri Lankan Army on 21.05.2006 in violation of the peace agreement while he was visiting the Vavunathivu border guards in the Batticaloa district.

The riverside air was washing away the puddles inside the school building. It’s not time for classes. The classrooms were deserted. The guard was not found. The school was completely unoccupied, except for a few people lurking inside the building

The field is like a green skirt and the sky is like a blue scarf. The “Historical Antiquities of Batticaloa” Manuscript – by S.E. Kamalanathan )speaks eloquently about the historical antiquity of the town.( Kandumani Maha Vidyalaya is one of the cultural cradles of our homeland

Everyone in the town is happy that the school is named after Kandumani Iya, who worked tirelessly to improve Paduvankara and laid the foundation for the school. Now to the east it was a generous playground, two-story building and laboratory with the weed of the area’s masonry school. It is an unwritten pride that many of the greats of today in Barugama have learned and written to many who have worked for social progress and liberation

The noise is now being heard as a plow approaches the school, which stood tall with pride that it would join them in the war of homeland redemption. The figures lurking behind the wall are motionless but subject to a stir. Only one figure slowly stretched his head and stared at the approaching plow. Gestures are obtained for the figures lurking in the back after pulling the head inwards to reveal the completion on its face. The weapons are now visible in the hands of the hidden figures. Most are hand grenades. Two of them assault rifles

Some of the men were wearing uniforms and boxes on the large chips of the plow. Some were in plain public attire. Weapons in everyone’s hands. They had been coming from a nearby camp for human hunting and had come and hunted in the same way on the first day. In their hunt the nuclei were broken. Women of all ages were robbed. Families were burned alive inside the field huts. Every night was a restless nightmare for survival.

The bereaved families were lurking like deadly criminals in the woods and in the countryside. Human hunters were hunting for a son for a father and a sister for brother. As the mob approached the barracks Kandumani Maha Vidyalaya, a figure suddenly appeared and started firing with a rifle in his hand. Following that, the figure appeared around the plow, and the manhunt crew fell to the ground, unable to retaliate with grenades and rifles

Weapons were removed from those who fled and fell to the ground.  Ramanan was the last figure to leave the place, taking one more weapon that had once been left after watching the Indian occupation troops and traitors fall on the bloody road after the attacking figures retreated one by one

Ramanan, who had been leading the operation from the time the spying operation was planned until the last stop and brought the fighters safely to the hideout, was 21. It had been a year of training.

Born in Palugamath under the name Kandaiya Ulaganathan, Ramanan was educated at Kandumani Maha Vidyalaya.  Raman’s brother joins the movement a few days later. Another brother )Kandaiya Mohandas( had initially started his liberation mission in another organization but was brutally killed by Indian troops and traitors while inspired by the greatness of the national leader and working in support of the LTTE. The next sister is also someone who has completed many years as a fighter. Another brother is a fighter serving in the Tamileelam Police Department

The tragedies faced by his mother are not insignificant.  The mother’s life was spent compensating for the frequent searches and traitors coming home looking for her children. In one such incident, angry enemies bombed her house and smashed it to the ground. His sister was also in the house

Ramanan did not show lenity in his attacks on the enemy. Two soldiers are killed in the trap bomb under the tree set by Ramanan when he knew they would come to his house. Many are injured. Ramanan was one of the best fielders for the national leader’s guerrilla tactics. Ramananis one of them who knew the fact where any object would explode and where the flakes would go

Ramanan, who started the first chapter of his intelligence career while Newton was in Batticaloa, has left his unique mark on traitor eradication and infiltration.    Despite several conspiracies to assassinate Ramanan by the Sri Lankan intelligence services, all plans were thwarted by Ramanan’s sophisticated information structure. His telegraphic activities extended beyond the homeland. It is difficult to list Ramanan’s intelligence. “I wanted to link Ramana to the Central Intelligence Agency. He had to work at the district level as needed,” said S. Pottu, head of the Tamil Eelam Intelligence Service

Ramanan led the offensive against the Indian Army in Thambuvil Camp. He was wounded in that battle. After that, he led the team in the Poonakary Thavalay Battle and the attack on the Aanaiyuravu Artillery Base. He was wounded in the “Jeyasikkuru” operation

Colonel Ramesh, who has been closely associated with Colonel Ramanan since the early days of his combat career and has shared many battlefields with him, shared his recollection: Ramanan’s project plans were so famous. Ramanan´s speciality is to move military with intelligence

April 2004 Ramanan was prominent in the boiling hearts when the traitor Karuna descended into contempt against the patriarchal doctrine in an insult to our heroes. Ramanan willingly accepts the most fruitful task of saving our people and fighters from humiliation and destruction. The news that Ramanan has arrived is a beacon for the people who wanted freedom and a blow to the traitor Karuna. Karuna, who has already lost Vagarai, now finds himself losing the Mawadi front. At this point, Ramanan’s tactical attack breaks down and Karuna tries to escape, unable to control his hands. Ramanan’s team is the first team to enter the Kudumbimalai area and recover the ejaculate of Neelan who was assassinated by Karuna last time

Colonel Ramanan, who had since foiled most of the conspiracies of the Sri Lankan military investigators and gangs and was the Batticaloa Deputy Commander and Deputy Commander of the Batticaloa Division, became a target of the enemy’s conspiracy while visiting the fighters guards in Vavuniya

Growing up with the smell of the homeland and its associated natures and rage, Ramanan excelled in the unique arts and discourses of that homeland. Those who saw Ramanan dancing in a skeleton dress at the Eluthumadduval Jeyanthan Camp will not forget to this day. Not only did he sing at art events on the grounds, but he also sang a song about the leader that his relatives and recipients had seen during the Thiyaaki Thileepan memorial event held at the school playground. He also like playing games with fighters and keeping

In the tsunami time, Ramanan also dedicated himself to the service of the people in the Ampara district, knowing that the enemy had targeted him and standing with the people in the occupied area.  His invaluable contribution to the construction of the Thileepan Hospital in the village of Pansenai is evident every time when visits the building

Everything here are tied to bear the memories of Ramanan in its depths. Ramanan’s name is definitely mentioned in the bustle of the forest and the song of the birds resting in the crane beach. Ramanan, who gave birth to his unique war tactics as a hero and sprouted before he fell on the path of homeland, lives in the in the depths of the surrounding
