Department of Personnel Registration of Tamil Eelam has started its operation on 01.01.2007
One of the administrative divisions of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), the Department of Personnel Registration has started its operation on 01.01.2007. First, the Director of the Personnel Registration Department (Sachithran) officially handed over the identity card to LTTE leader V. Prabhakaran. In Mullivakkal area, two identity cards issued by the department in the year 2009 have been recovered.
