Drops of memories Vinoth / Cholamaravan (Vinayagam Rajakumar) 30.01.2009

Drops of memories
As an excellent accountant…
As the director of the College of Engineering…
As the assistant director of the College of Engineering…
As a fighter with a strong personality…
As a graduate of the University of Yarlpanam…
As the head of a beautiful family…
As a loving, strict teacher…
As one of the children of my Tamil father…
A man with a multifaceted personality Vinoth / Cholamaravan
(Vinayagam Rajakumar)
Although he was called Sir by profession,
A gentleman who treated me like a brother beyond duty

“You all need to study well…”
That was the line he said when we met once, even after the final war cloud had enveloped him and he went on field duty. That was the line he often told us even when he was on administrative duty.

In his spare time, he would always have a book in his hand. During his college days, the air raids were increasing. When fighter jets take off from there, warnings will be given to many parts of the Vanni. If he sees someone standing outside without going into the bunker despite receiving such a warning, he will be sent inside with strict discipline. However, he does not enter the bunker.

He loved the freedom of the motherland more than he loved himself…
He loved independent leadership
He loved disciplined control
He loved a proper administrative structure
He loved the future generation

Before the stomach ulcer, he suffered in Kalamunai in December, had fully healed, he returned to Kalamunai and became maveeran on 30.01.2009 in the conflict in the Nethaliyatru area. His family moved and his remains were kept as a tribute in a temporary residence in the Matalan area.

The second daughter was a little girl. A verse that the child often said to someone who waving with a neem leaf so that flies would not settle on the body was, “The insect is going to bite my father. Wave correct…”

The heart that had been strained by carrying the seeds and seeing so many heroic deaths broke and tears flowed from my eyes.

We have seen so many noble people fighting for our dreams. So many have sacrificed their personalities for us.

The pain of not having those who raised us to see our growth will always be there in one side of my heart. Even those pains will always make us travel with determination and without bowing our heads.
