The first ”karumpuli attack”
The first ”karumpuli attack” (Black Tiger attack) was in 1987 July, 5th against the occupying Sri Lankan military. Their first combatant; Captain Miller from the armed struggle’s Elite unit; Black Tiger perished in that military engagement. Captain Miller lead the offensive at the occupying Sri Lankan army camp at Vadamarachchi Nelliyadi Central High School in Tamil Eelam. Following this offensive from the Elite squad of the Black Tigers; the occupying Sri Lankan military’s “Operation Liberation” was bought to a standstill.
