Abhinaya’s tall, slightly plump appearance makes her stand out in the squad. She always dances with a smile on her face and works with the same enthusiasm in training. Being the youngest in the squad, she is liked by everyone and impresses everyone with her childish speech.
Abhinaya joined the struggle in late 1998 and knew how to speak Sinhala. Sometimes she would sing Sinhala songs that she knew and make everyone laugh. When she got angry, she would say it in Sinhala.
She would practice knife fighting in Sinhala during attack training and she had a lot of interest in fighting well. She was injured in both legs in the battle of operation “Oyaatha Alaikal-3”.
She would always insist to her commander that she should go on a reconnaissance mission. Her talent and enthusiasm made her selected for the task. She got the opportunity to act as one of the reconnaissance team in the Itta area attack operation, a phase of the landing war. She rose to the rank of reconnaissance officer of a 5-man team.
After Abhinaya was stationed in the Savakacheri area, she would accurately describe what she saw and listen to the enemy’s conversation and translate it into Tamil for us. It would be interesting to listen to. At the same time, the unique courage that amazes the mind when thinking about her ability is something that was born with Abhinaya.
After a few days, she was transferred to the Ariyalai area. That was also her final field. We walk with the memory of Abhinaya, who lived a good life as a brave woman, a good fighter, good to everyone, powerful, and became history.
