Questions and Answers 👇

Question:

What is your opinion about the large amount of weapons and equipment coming from America to Sri Lanka?

Answer: This arming is dangerous not only for the freedom struggle of Tamileelam but also for the security of India. You know that America’s intention is not only to help the Sri Lankan army and crush the Tamileelam freedom struggle. Setting up a naval base in Trincomalee is a fake objective of US imperialism. This will turn the Indian Ocean region into a war zone and create a war crisis in the region.

Question: What kind of country do you think Tamileelam will be once it gets its freedom?

Answer: Tamileelam will become a socialist state. By socialism I mean an egalitarian social system. It guarantees human freedom and individual rights. It will happen as a true democracy of the people where all forms of exploitation have been eliminated. Tamileelam will be a free society where the Tamil people will have maximum opportunities to maintain their wealth and develop their culture. This independent Tamileelam would be a neutral country and adhere to the policy of non-alignment. It will also maintain friendly relations with India and honor its international policies, particularly its foreign policy of making the Indian Ocean a region of peace.

Question: In your prediction, when will you reach Tamileelam?

Answer: The freedom struggle cannot have a fixed term or a preliminary plan. It will depend on the conditions that develop in Tamileelam and on the world stage.
