Tamil Eelam Arts and Culture Society

The LTTE Arts and Culture Association was an important branch of the LTTE . It carried out activities related to Tamil art and culture. Puthuvai Rathinathurai was in charge of it.

Muthamil festivals are one of the various activities carried out by the Arts and Culture Association. Special flowers were released by the Arts and Culture Society in connection with the Muthamil festivals held in 1991 and 1992. A three-day seminar was held in Nallur in 1995 and a two-day seminar in Pudukudiyiruppu in 1998. The Music, Dance and Drama Festival held in Trincomalee in 2003 was also organized by the Arts and Culture Institute. Apart from that, the Art and Culture Society has published collections of short stories such as Light Short Stories, Each Door and Poetry Collections such as Semmani.

Velicham (magazine) with Karunakaran as its editor is a publication of the Art and Culture Institute.
