July 24, 2001, 14 Karumpulikal from the leader’s special commando team infiltrated the Katunayake Air Base

It is important to celebrate our victories in parallel with the genocide. In the early hours of July 24, 2001, 14 Karumpulikal from the leader’s special commando team infiltrated the Katunayake Air Base. All 14 of them wrote about the indomitability, courage, and heroism of a race!

They crashed into the airships in the base and exploded. That was the day the whole world was amazed by the LTTE.

This attack was recorded by historians and military experts as the reason why the balance of power turned in the LTTE´s favor and the reason why the West forced the Memorandum of Understanding on the LTTE.

That was a feat achieved by just 14 LTTE fighters, who were able to coordinate attacks from within and without.

There is an important lesson to be learned here. Just 14 freedom fighters took over the military/political/material decision-making power of the island that day. It is necessary to continue to maintain the fighting spirit/heroism that we have.

Because today’s world order is not only influenced towards the strong, but our continued decline will only help the enemy continue to destroy us, not save us.

“The big fish will swallow the small fish,” says Chanakya.

“The fittest will survive,” says Darwin.

Sigmund Freud says the same thing in another language: “Defense is a natural instinct and it is necessary for long-term survival.”

“Nanthikadal” has emphatically recorded that the gift of life (Karumpulikal) plays an predictable role in the struggle of nationalities that are surrounded and hunted by the lobbies of the government with weapons of mass destruction, with scientific-technical-intelligence networks.

That is why “Nanthikadal” reintroduces these powerful superhumans of weak nationalities by philosophizing.

We don’t need to hit – but we can defend ourselves by sowing fear in the enemy that if we cross the line, we will hit back at some point.

Instead, if we do politics of compliance, surrender as our Tamil politicians are doing now, the existing momentum will be lost.

This is the news of the day, especially for the month of July.
