In the early eighties, when the use of computers and their introduction had not reached South Asia to a large level, the foresight of designing the symbol of the student organization of the movement to indicate the introduction of computers and the use of the Internet is surprising.

In an environment where student organizations in the world used to design their symbols by symbolizing books and pens, we think that the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam were the first organization in the world to symbolize computers and/or the Internet.
