Day 5: Thilepan could not get up today.

Day 5: Thilepan could not get up today. His body was terribly swollen. The newspapers said so: “The kidneys began to suffer. The heart is running strong. If he does not drink water anything can happen at any time”. The Indian Peace Keeoing Force, in charge of the Jaffna Fort Army Camp, Colonel Tarar came to see Thileepan. People were angry with him. Colonel Tarar left Thileepan saying he will speak to people higher about Thileepan and the 5 demands.
