This rare statue of Ketu, preserved at Musée Guimet in Paris

This rare statue of Ketu, preserved at Musée Guimet in Paris, dates back to the 11th century CE. The sculpture was created in the Cambodian Khmer art style, specifically in the Khleang style. In Indian tradition, Ketu is usually depicted riding a buffalo or an eagle. However, in this statue at Musée Guimet, Ketu is portrayed seated upon a lion.
