with 10,000+ soldiers inside the base and won the battle after a fierce battle that lasted 32 days.
Special features of this battle:
1) Fighters from all the regiments and all the districts participated.
2) The army itself was hesitant to do such a landing, but the national leader successfully completed it.

4) Because until the landing was connected by land, it was difficult to get food, explosives, and medicine, but the LTTE fought well. The connection was made by land only after 3 days through Brigadier Theepan.
