Heroes’ Day event at Vanni Villangulam Thuyilumillam!
November 25 to 27 is observed as Heroes’ week in the Tamil homeland and diaspora. This week commemorates the heroes who fought for the dawn of Tamil Eelam.
The Heroes’ Day Commemoration Event commemorates the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the liberation of Tamil people. This week was held at the “Vanni Villangulam Heroes” Thuyilumillam with great fervor. The general flame was lit at 6.5 pm.
Following this, parents, relatives of the heroes, ex-combatants, politicians, and religious leaders attended and paid homage to the fallen heroes by lighting a flaming torch.
