Wildlife of Tamil Eelam

The Wildlife Conservation Division was established by the National Leader of Tamil Eelam, Hon. V. Prabhakaran with the objective of protecting the forests and wildlife of Tamil Eelam.

One of the freedom fighters Saththy, who was appointed for this division, oversaw saving wildlife and stopping the hunting of wildlife animals. He was very responsible in this matter.

If people needed resources like trees and branches, they were provided from the division’s conservatory. Self-selecting trees were cut down by the people when the need arose, and many trees were replanted. Forests were protected in place of each tree that was cut down.
