The disarmament actions carried out by the Tamil Eelam self-determination forces in Kattankudy and Kalmunai have resulted in a sustained period of calm, with no disruptions reported.
Tamil speaking Muslim Moors religious and social figures shared their views with our correspondent.
They stated that the fear and uncertainty caused by the actions of a Muslim Moors armed group who were extending their support to the invading forces of Sri Lanka in the area has been brought to an end, thanks to the intervention of the Tamil Eelam armed struggle movement.
They emphasized that they continue to see the Tamil Eelam Liberation struggle organization as a reliable source of protection and security for all communities that resides within Tamil Eelam nation.
