01. The mind gains new insights no matter how many times you read a favorite book. Reading the events about Prabhakaran is like reading a new experience. He is the one who showed the meaning of bravery to Tamils through his life.

02. The elder brother who is called Thambi by Tamils. The leader of the LTTE who has been fighting the Sri Lankan government for 30 years. The man who transformed Tamileelam into a fertile land of bravery!
Arikaran – This is the name that his Velupillai first gave him. Since he was the youngest of two brothers and sisters, everyone would call him Thurai. Then, whatever he thought of, the father gave him the alias Prabhakaran!
Seven people from Valvettithurai, namely Periyasothi, Chinnasothi, Chandran, Kuttimani, Thangathurai and Prabhakaran, started the liberation movement together. They did not give it a name. Since Prabhakaran was the youngest in the team, they called him ‘Thambi’. That’s how it is when everyone has a younger brother!

03. P. Sathyaseelan was Prabhakaran’s political ancestor. When Prabhakaran asked him, “We should attack police stations and take weapons,” Sathyaseelan replied, “If we take them, where will we put them?”. Only after that did he choose a life in the wild!

04. The novel that Prabhakaran often read – Alex Hevy’s ‘Seven Generations’. In it, he underlined the lines ‘It doesn’t rain without thunder and lightning. No one will give anything without a struggle’!

05. Prabhakaran had the habit of walking very, very fast. When he went to school, he would hold the pen in his pocket with his left hand. That habit continued even later!

06. When a foreign Tamil asked, “Why are you always in uniform?” Prabhakaran said, “This is the dress that no one dares to wear. That is why I am always in it.”

07. “Prabhakaran never smoked. He never drank alcohol. He did not want this habit in others. If Prabhakaran tolerated someone who smoked in the LTTE, it would be Balasingham. Prabhakaran does not like the cigarette that comes from Bala. Therefore, Bala does not smoke in the presence of Prabha,” says Balasingham’s wife Adele.

08. Prabhakaran sold the ring he was given on his sister’s wedding to buy the first gun of the organization. After that, he did not wear jewellery.

09. He would take off any weapon and get stuck. He had translations of all the English books related to weapons. His advice was, ‘A person without technical knowledge cannot be a complete fighter’!

10. Prabhakaran would fast on the 25th, 26th and 27th of every November. 26th is his birthday. 27th is Maveerar Naal. He would appear on screen only that evening and deliver a speech to everyone.

11. He would write the following words in his diary: ‘Nature is my friend; Life is my philosopher; History is my guide.’

12. Whoever was injured in the war would visit him, Prabhakaran would say, “The great Paluvettayar who comes from Ponniyin Selvan has 64 scars of heroism’ and give him courage!”

14. Everyone would write with three fingers while holding the pen. When Prabhakaran wrote, he would hold it with all five fingers.

16. Prabhakaran had publicly declared that after the achievement of Tamileelam, my only job would be to look after the injured fighters and the progress of the affected people.

Kantaruban, who came into the organization as an orphan without parents, became a great fighter and died.

19. Prabhakaran said that cyanide, which takes life, was the life that made our movement grow rapidly.

20. When some people criticized Prabhakaran, he stayed away from the organization for a year and a half.

21. The first team to receive combat training directly from Prabhakaran: Kittu, Shankar, Sellakkili, Ponnamman. The second team: Seelan, Pulenthiran. The third team: Pottu, Victor, Reji. These have training for the ones came after.

22. If someone criticized someone close to him, Prabhakaran’s response would be, “I am pure. I will be there until the end. No one can change me. I will bring the person you criticized to my way so.”
